June 28, 2024, Irish Independent: Wicklow school opens new building to help kids with extra needs
Students and staff from Scoil Naomh Iósaf in Baltinglass gathered recently to mark the official opening of ‘Réalta’, the school’s new building dedicated to autistic classes and pupils with additional needs, and its state-of-the-art playground.
School principal Dr Mairéad Hennessy welcomed Bishop Denis Nulty to officiate at the official opening and the blessing of Réalta classes and playground, with other guests including architect Mel McLoughlin, who designed the building and brought it to fruition in association with Tom Nolan Construction.
