Jan 26, 2026, Radio Kerry: Ten schools in Kerry approved for new special education classes
Ten schools in Kerry have been approved for new special education classes.
It’s part of 95 additional classes nationwide sanctioned by the Department of Education for the 2026/27 academic year.
It brings to 16 the number of special classes approved for Kerry in 2026.
Eight primary schools and two secondary schools in the county, including in Cahersiveen, Dingle, Kenmare, Castleisland and Tralee will benefit from the latest tranche. . . .
Fianna Fáil councillor for the Kenmare Municipal District, Tommy Cahill says school principals and management put in huge work to ensure these are delivered.
