Works on a new wing at Mayfield School in Torquay have been completed, providing additional facilities and space for pupils with complex education, health and care needs.

The school now benefits from 1:1 office and session rooms, group session rooms, a training room, mobility washrooms, accessible kitchens and storage areas thanks to the new extension.

The £1.5m [$1.7M] project was funded by Torbay Council as part of the children’s services capital programme to improve facilities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. …
