Twenty students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) have started the school year at newly-created school places.
The new provisions have been made available at Eldene Nursery & Primary School and Robert Le Kyng Primary, following a £3.4 million [$4.6M] grant which was given to Swindon Borough Council by the Department for Education in February.
The funding provided the opportunity for eight new school places to be created at Eldene, and 12 at Robert Le Kyng, marking a significant step forward in inclusive education across the Borough.
