Pupils in Staffordshire are to benefit from £2.44 million to [$3.37M U.S.] help improve special educational needs provision.
The Government funding could go towards a variety of capital projects, including ‘resource’ bases in mainstream schools. These would enable children to work with staff trained in areas such as autism or behaviour support….
And to help reduce the reliance on costly independent sector placements, special schools will also be able to come up with expansion plans.
