Oct 14, 2025, Bracknell News: New centre opening in Wokingham for children with SEN

S. central England

The uReach SEND centre, located at Hatch Farm in Sindlesham, will serve pupils primarily from the Wokingham area who require specialised support.

It will officially open on Wednesday, October 15.

The facility will focus on helping primary school-age children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) whose needs cannot be met in mainstream education.

Ali Sinfield, special educational needs coordinator at Robert Piggott Junior School in Wargrave, said: "The current resources in the Wokingham area are stretched, and there is a clear gap in provision for children requiring the specialised support that uReach is uniquely positioned to deliver. . . .

The centre has been launched by The uGroup, which includes Berkshire-based education support providers uReach, uSports and uKids.

Jo Iremonger, director of inclusion at uReach, said: "We are incredibly proud to have brought this incredible building back to life, transforming what was a disused office for five years into a safe and nurturing space. . . .
