A new school planned for Rochdale has taken one step closer to opening following praise from Ofsted.
The education watchdog has deemed Whitehall Academy as meeting regulatory requirements ahead of opening. The new special needs school will be a privately funded educator especially designed for primary school aged children with complex needs. . . .
The Department for Education has now approved the opening of the school after planning permission was granted for the Whitehall Street last year. The school said they are already receiving a large volume of referrals from a number of local authorities.
