Works are well underway on a new special needs school in Essex after diggers were sent into the site. Workers, work vehicles and machinery are on site at the 500-home Wolsey Park Development in Rawreth - near Rayleigh.
The school will have places for 250 children with special needs and will be split across two locations. It comes as Essex continues to see major delays in assessments for special educational needs children. . . .
