Students and teachers returning from their summer holidays will be greeted with improved facilities at a school in Nottingham after a £1m upgrade. Haddon Primary and Nursery School has seen a lot of change in the past year and work is now complete on a major make-over. The start of the new school year begins on September 6 for Haddon Primary. In total the work, which started in 2017, included a new sports and assembly hall, classroom, library, sensory room, flooring and toilets. The school was helped by a £960,000 grant from the Department for Education after it joined the Flying High Academy Trust.
