What will happen in another 4 years? How can we go on like this? This is a national (and international) problem of monumental proportions. We have an entire new class of children who cannot be accommodated by the system: many are manifestly neurologically impaired. Meanwhile, the government and the medical profession sleep on regardless.

Planning permission has been granted for the erection of a bespoke Special Educational Needs (SEN) facility at Milllington Primary School in Portadown.

The double modular unit at the Craigavon Avenue school will comprise of two classrooms.

Also approved by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Council Planning officers, as part of the overall plans, are a lobby, cleaners’ store, sensory rooms, toilets, hygiene room, staff base and breakout room. . . .
