Jan 22, 2026, Daily Echo: Hampshire secondary school set for £1.2million investment
Plans have been approved to invest £1.2 million [$1.6M] in improvements at a Hampshire school to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
The funding will deliver two key projects at secondary school Wyvern College in Fair Oak, involving the refurbishment of the first floor of the school’s existing art, and the installation of a new external covered canopy.
The internal refurbishment will transform the first floor of the art block into a range of specialist facilities.
This includes a learning support classroom, dedicated learning support and regulation spaces, two small group rooms, a photography studio, an administration office, kitchenette, meeting room, reprographics room, storage area and a toilet for pupils. . . .
