With space for 170 students, the school caters to children aged between three and 11 who have profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as those with complex communication, autism and medical needs. The £12.1m [$17M U.S.] new facility, built to cater to the rising demand for special educational needs (SEN) school places in the borough, was formally opened on Monday by former Paralympian and politician Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson…. Headteacher Judith Donovan said: "It's fabulous - it's got lots and lots of facilities, we have sensory rooms, a beautiful hydrotherapy pool, a lot of outdoor space and play equipment for the children.
