An Essex school will build an extension with more space for specialist areas to support children with special needs. The works at Great Totham Primary School in Walden House Road will mean children with “diverse” sensory processing needs are better supported. It will see a single-storey side extension to the existing and detached so-called ‘Treehouse’ classroom. . . .


The school says it has “limited internal space to adequately support” pupils with additional educational needs, including children with ADHD, ASD, and other sensory processing difficulties. . . .
