July 10, 2018, Weston Mercury: Puppy proves popular with primary school children in Weston Ashcombe Primary School, in Earlham Grove, is being visited by 12-week-old Gus, who will be trained to become a ‘pets as therapy’ dog. He is owned by teacher Kelly Greatorex, and he is already a star attraction at the 630-pupil school…. “We are a real community and dogs have been proven to help calm children and help them through a range of learning issues.”… Other schools in North Somerset have invited dogs to help pupils….
