Specialist engineering firm Keltbray is delivering remediation services to enable the construction of the 2,700m2 Pathways School, with capacity for 90 pupils. It will cater for students between the ages of seven and 18 years with social, emotional and mental health special needs…. The design proposals for Pathways School were developed in association with the Eko academy trust and Department for Education (DfE) technical advisors. The school forms part of the DfE’s £3bn [$3.4B] “off-site schools framework”. Construction specialist Reds10 is constructing it using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). …

Keltbray remediation managing director Peter Howland said: “We’re excited to have started works for the construction of the Pathways School, which will be a space for children to thrive and flourish.

“Keltbray has a long-standing history of supporting the communities in which we work, which is why we’re thrilled to be working on such an important scheme which will provide such benefits for the local area and beyond.”

Keltbray is currently on site and is due to complete works towards the end of 2022.

Keltbray has started work on the Pathways School project on a brownfield site in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
