St George's Infant School and Nursery's most recent inspection also found issues over the planning and delivery of the curriculum. Inspectors said "too many" pupils with disabilities or special education needs weren't receiving the support they should, and that school attendance was too low…. The report said: "A significant minority of pupils behave in highly inappropriate ways. "This interrupts other pupils’ learning and has a negative effect on the well-being of staff and pupils. "In particular, some pupils are frequently violent towards staff."…

Children are increasingly disabled and chronically ill, and the education system has to accommodate them. Things we've long associated with autism, like sensory issues, repetitive behaviors, anxiety and lack of social skills, are now problems affecting mainstream students.
