Children will be more exposed to germs and at a higher risk of infection when the new school term begins, and North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group is urging parents to think ahead. Around one in 11 children in North Somerset suffers from asthma and Dr Kirsty Alexander said: “I saw a child who had difficulty breathing when he came back from a holiday, possibly triggered by the cooler air and a minor virus.
