SW England The Mayor of Bristol has given the job of sorting out the city's troubled education system to his deputy Asher Craig. Marvin Rees has made councillor Asher Craig responsible for Children's Services, Education and Equalities, a month after the previous education lead left for a new consultancy job. Cllr Craig will take on responsibility for Bristol's growing crisis in Special Educational Needs, as well as a shortage of secondary school places and stalling and delayed projects to build new secondary schools in St Philips and in Knowle West….
