For six years, a registered therapy pug has been warming the hearts of children and adults at Stowe Elementary School. Today, Lulu’s adorable, smushed face and quiet disposition settle even the most anxious mind.
“Everyone who’s been here knows she’s part of the fabric of the school,” said Wendy Monahan, Stowe Elementary School counselor and a registered play therapist. “The impact has been above and beyond what any book says.” …
