Stevens Point, WI: New autism center opens

Wisconsin Early Autism Project has opened a new learning center in Stevens Point, expanding its reach to families in Portage County and beyond.


The center, located at 200 Division St., Suite D, offers applied behavior analysis therapy, parent education, early intervention and social skills programs, according to a community announcement.


The Stevens Point center is accepting new clients and has no waitlist, making it a valuable resource for families seeking support for children ages 2-6.


Center offers variety of services


The center features a SMART Board room, an indoor gross motor space and treatment rooms to support one-on-one therapy and peer interaction.


Wisconsin Early Autism Project, which is celebrating its 30th year, is a provider of LEARN Behavioral and has been a leader in early diagnosis and treatment for children with autism.

The organization has helped thousands of children in Wisconsin, according to the announcement.


The new center is within walking distance of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and is easily accessible for families in the region.
