Jan 28, 2019, Stamford (CT) Advocate: Board questions proposed schools budget https://www.stamfordadvocate.com/local/article/No-increase-to-maintenance-budget-for-next-year-13562598.php Board of Education officials are in the process of examining the superintendent's proposed budget for the next school year. The suggested $286 million spending plan represents a 5-percent increase, and includes money for a growing special education population and new school initiatives.
