The special education director pointed out that some students require one-on-one services from a staff member and some two-on-one because of their aggressive or challenging behaviors. The overall special education budget for RSU 13 for 2018-2019 is proposed at $5,644,752. This amounts to nearly 20 percent of the total district budget.
