Rantoul, IL: 19 percent of students have I.E.P.s

For the 2017-18 school year, there are 24 full-time special education teachers and one part-time, with 10 of the teachers being new to RCS this year. In the RCS district, the percentage of students with individualized education programs rose steadily each year, growing from 16.7 percent in 2011-12 to 19.7 percent in 2015-16, though it went down slightly last year.
