June 9, 2025, Lincoln & Hastings-Krny KSNB: Sensory kits available for first time at CWS
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Sensory kits will be available for checkout at Charles Schwab Field during the College World Series, according to the Autism Action Partnership.
“Autism Spectrum Disorder affects 1 in 31 children, and many autistic individuals experience sensory sensitivities that can make large, crowded events overwhelming. By providing sensory kits, the MCWS is helping to remove barriers and create a more inclusive ballpark experience,” according to the AAP.
Fans will be able to check out kits at the guest services counter near Section 113.
Autism Action Partnership VP of Operations Michaela Ahrens said the items were specially chosen to manage any reactions to the sights, sounds and unpredictability of a baseball game.
Each kit includes items like noise-canceling headphones, sunglasses, fidgets, a visual timer and more.
