State Superintendent Ryan Walters announced that Oklahoma secured an additional $200 million in school funding.

The state received $192,315,072 in IDEA funding.

The funds support early intervention and special education services for infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities.

“Oklahoma schools will receive nearly $200 million of additional funding. It is critical that we put our kids on the right track for learning for our school system. This funding is essential to ensuring that those students receive the best education possible, and we will continue to find ways to protect and support these students at SDE," Walters said.
