Calley also signed a bill by State Rep. Daniela Garcia, R-Holland, regarding the seclusion and restraint of students in schools. Her bill, House Bill 5126, allows school resource officers, who are contracted to a school district from a law enforcement department in the region, to utilize their training to resolve incidents at school that may arise.
