Childhood Lost

Children today are noticeably different from previous generations, and the proof is in the news coverage we see every day. This site shows you what’s happening in schools around the world. Children are increasingly disabled and chronically ill, and the education system has to accommodate them. Things we've long associated with autism, like sensory issues, repetitive behaviors, anxiety and lack of social skills, are now problems affecting mainstream students. Blame is predictably placed on bad parenting (otherwise known as trauma from home).

Addressing mental health needs is as important as academics for modern educators. This is an unrecognized disaster. The stories here are about children who can’t learn or behave like children have always been expected to. What childhood has become is a chilling portent for the future of mankind.

What will happen in another 4 years? How can we go on like this? This is a national (and international) problem of monumental proportions. Miami-Dade Co: Decals alert police to home or car with autistic person

Starting in April, the Miami-Dade Police Department will issue free decals to alert officers if a person in a home or vehicle has autism to raise awareness for people with special needs.

The Miami-Dade County Commission adopted the program to train first responders to interact with people with autism who may not speak, respond to or comply with verbal commands and may not be aware of danger.

The county collaborates with the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities on the Autism decal program.

The center estimates that 50,000 individuals with autism live in Miami-Dade County. The voluntary program’s goal is to prevent confrontations between people with special needs and police….

Why ARE cops suddenly going after millions of "neurodivergent" adults, silently and quietly? Meltdowns and property destruction/rages? Florida's 'baker act' is a prime example of this.
