(Ireland) Shannon Airport provides "sensory space" for people with ASD etc.

EVERYONE is saying the same thing about a little-known room at an Irish airport - and it's free to enter.

Lyric, who can be found online at @neuroshrugs, recently tried out the sensory room at Shannon Ireland Airport.

It is designed to help people with autism, dementia, cognitive impairment or other special needs.

She said: "Come to the airport sensory room with me!"

She showed glimpses of the colourful room with "soft surfaces and low lights".

And there's activities to help calm the passengers who might feel overwhelmed in the busy airport.
