April 29, 2025, Ireland Live: Provision of two special education units sought for Kildare school
Two new special education units are being sought by the Board of Management (BoM) for one County Kildare school.
A planning permission application currently with Kildare County Council (KCC) shows that the BoM of Scoil Íde Naofa, which is located in Kilmead, Athy, intends to construct the two units on the school's premises. . . .
Permission is also being sought for all ancillary site development works.
The date received is listed as April 28 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as June 1 and June 22 respectively.
According to the school's official website, Scoil Íde Naofa is a Catholic primary school.
It is a co-educational school which caters for boys and girls from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.
