Sept 4, 2025, Irish Independent: Government urged to reveal number of children with special needs left without school places  

Latest update from Education Minister Helen McEntee did not provide the figures

The Government is being criticised for not making public the number of children with special needs who are without a school place for the coming academic year.

 

It comes as a special-needs education campaigner has identified at least 168 children in counties Dublin and ­Laois alone whose start dates have been ­delayed by building works.
