Calls are intensifying for the establishment of an additional special-education class at Ballyforan National School.
Families have expressed increasing concern that the current level of provision is insufficient to meet the needs of children requiring autism-specific placements.
Classes are currently taking place at the nearby community hall, owned by the local GAA club, St. Aidan's while the roof of the school is said to be in a state of disrepair.
