One of the first things I do when a parent reaches out to us . . .is to congratulate them. . . .You’ve had this very life-changing news, but I congratulate them because I know how hard they’ve worked to get to that point.
The courage it’s taken that family to notice those signs, to be aware, to go to their pediatrician, to hear from their teachers, . . . How proud I am that they care for their kid and they’ve made it this far. . . .
Everyone is different. It’s not this big bad situation. Everyone’s different. This is what makes some of us different. . . .
We celebrate acceptance and diversity day in and day out. . . .
It started with one center and now you’re at five across the state.
