Thursday was opening day for Gahanna’s newest school, Gahanna Lincoln Elementary. The new school costs more than $23 million and it can hold up to 750 students. It’s the first time the district opened up a new school in close to 30 years….
The new school has some unique features including sensory rooms.
"We have put also in place sensory areas, and in hallways, one of them has a room. So, if a student is having a difficult moment, they can get re-adjusted and do some exercises that calm them down,” said Barrett….
