Davis, CA: Elementary schools get full-time counselor; boost for "social-emotional curriculum"

Hiring is underway this summer. With a full-time counselor in place, the school district’s elementary schools will offer a more comprehensive social-emotional curriculum and counseling staff will be afforded the opportunity to create multi-tiered systems of support, targeting our students who are most likely to thrive and benefit from small and more intensive interventions and structures.
