Keith Owens, who said he has two students at Bonner, said he spent the day volunteering and participating in the school’s shadow program. While there, Owens said he noticed students getting out of their seats and talking while the teacher was trying to teach the class. “I know some kids are there to learn,” Owens said. “How can they learn if there is no help there?” … Board member Ed Polhamus thanked Owens for speaking up
