Sixteen schools in the Kwinana and Rockingham region will receive a boost over the next three years after the State Government announced education assistants will be put back into classrooms.
By 2020, primary schools across the region will have the added support of more than 40 education assistants. Premier Mark McGowan said education assistants had an integral role in the education of students including one-on-one literacy and numeracy coaching and extra support for students facing learning difficulties, students with English as a second language and students with disability. ...
