The documentary, which is the recipient of nine film festival awards, chronicles the birth of a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities using cutting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease. By understanding what adverse childhood experiences are and how they affect us, we can work toward implementing “trauma-informed” policies and practices in our homes and communities….
